About the Blog

The Moms and Dads on Campus blog features the work of Cameron students and other local writers who have tips, insights or interesting stories to share with parents who are going to or planning to go to college.  The blog is connected to a message board where readers can suggest topics or get suggestions for topics as well as tips for making their own blogs. 

We welcome submissions from any writer who wants to share his or her experiences as a parent and/or as a student.  By gathering work from people with all sorts of expertise, we hope to provide a resource for students and future students of Cameron University and for parents throughout the community.  In addition to non-fiction content, we welcome submissions of poetry, fiction, photography and other creative work.  Blog entries can be as short as a single paragraph (usually introducing a link to an article, video or film) and up to 1200 words.

Contributors who wish to remain anonymous may post under a pseudonym.
